TICKETS


Q: How much are tickets?

A: Tickets go on sale December 1 at our EARLY BIRD price of $75/person. Regular ticket prices start January 1 at $100/person, and February 1-15 there is a late ticket price of $125/person.


Q: Is there a couple discount?

A: We do not offer a couple discount, but encourage couples to take advantage of our EARLY BIRD ticket pricing to save $50/couple!


Q: How many people sit at a table?

A: Dinner tables at the auction sit a maximum of 10 people.


Q: What if I can't fill a whole table?

A: We do offer the option to fill your entire auction table, but it is not required. The auction committee will try to seat you with some new friends! We do recommend you buy your tickets early, even if you’re not sure who you plan to sit with. Those are details you can send us later on.


Q: What all is included with my ticket?

A: Your dinner auction ticket includes access to our auction website to preview items leading up to the auction, appetizers & a full buffet dinner on auction night, open bar, and exclusive access to live auction and other event games.


Q: Will tickets sell out?

A: It’s possible! We have an amazing auction planned and there are a limited number of seats available.



ATTENDANCE


Q: What do I wear?

A: The ICS Dinner Auction tends to be a fairly dressy event. Many attendees will dress to the theme, so if it’s your style to go all-out, you won’t be alone! If you’re a more casual person you might consider the dress code “nice night out” or “church best”.


Q: Is the auction just for ICS people or can I bring friends and family?

A: Everyone is welcome!


Q: Is this just dinner and an auction?

A: No way! Aside from dinner and both silent and live auctions, we also have 3 raffles, 4 games, and a few other surprises we’ll be revealing later on.



AUCTION EXTRAS


Q: What are auction games?

A: This year we have 4 games: 3 are “pulls” where you pay a certain amount and are guaranteed to win of of the items. We have pulls for bottles of bourbon, gift cards, and jewelry. Our 4th game is a chance to win an item from our live auction.


Q: What are “Suspect Table Add-Ons”?

A: Some of our auction attendees like an auction experience that is a little . . . extra! To go with this year’s theme we are offering special “Suspect” themed table extras. These packages include elevated table decor, photo props, exclusive themed snacks, auction swag, and more! Suspect Table Add-Ons are $200 and there are only 10 available, first-come first-served, and we only allow one Add-On per table. Suspect Table Add-Ons are only on sale December 1-January 15!



DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERING


Q: Can I donate an item to the auction?

A: Absolutely! Donation items can be taken to the ICS office during school hours or dropped off at 705 North Main in Columbia. If you’re looking for ideas on what to donate, check out our wish list. HERE


Q: I want to donate an item, but only if it’s on the Live Auction. Is that okay?

A: First of all, we would be happy to take your donation. We hope you’ll trust us to put your donation wherever we think it will bring in the most money for ICS.


Q: Can I make a cash donation to the auction?

A: YES! There is a donation option on the auction website, or checks can be sent to

Q: Can I volunteer at the auction without buying a ticket?

A: Yes! Many of our auction night volunteers are also ticket holders, but we welcome those who are just there to help. Many hands make light work.



GENERAL QUESTIONS


Q: Where at ICS is the auction held?

A: The ICS Dinner Auction is help on the Immaculate Conception campus at 411 PALMER ROAD, Columbia, IL. All auction events are on the lower level: in the Garden Level, the Gym, Cafeteria, etc.


Q: Where do we park?

A: Premium parking is on the lower level - we will have some VIP reserved parking spots but others are first-come first-served. Those parking on the lower level will enter the auction through the parish entrance doors. Those parking on the upper level will enter through the church and use the stairs or elevator to get downstairs.


Q: What forms of payment are accepted at the auction?

A: Ticket purchases are through our auction site, where they accept most major credit cards. You will need a credit card on file with the auction site to bid or make purchases at the auction, and that card will automatically be charged at the conclusion of events.


Q: Where and when do I pick up my auction winnings?

A: Some items, like game prizes and live auction items, are available to take home the night of the auction. Silent auction items will be available for pickup the following day - Sunday, February 25, 10am-1pm.
